I’ve come across some interesting blends of beer in my time but this latest one surely takes the cake (or maybe the pizza). Newspapers are reporting a guy from Chicago came up with the original concept of a pizza beer. That’s right you read correctly – the guy who apparently operates a brewery in his garage has come up with a new blend by adding the two things he loves most – pizza and beer. Apparently some local restaurants are already serving this new beer to their customers. The new pizza beer blend contains tomatoes, garlic, basil and oregano, giving it a taste and smell reminiscent of its solid-food namesake.
